Fawzi Hanano, Chief Development Officer – Cornish Metals

Fawzi Hanano is a finance professional with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry and at global investment banks. Before joining Cornish Metals as Chief Development Officer, he was Head of Investor Relations and Communications at SolGold plc, an LSE and TSX-listed copper and gold developer. Fawzi’s experience also includes a dozen years in mining equity research, where he covered global large and small cap miners and underlying commodities at a number of investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, UBS, HSBC, Macquarie and Berenberg. Fawzi started his mining sector career at Rio Tinto where he held roles in business development and strategy within the industrial minerals division.

 

Nick Baxter, Head of Communications – CleanTech Lithium

Strategic and corporate communications experience, Nick has worked with start-ups to FTSE100 and NASDAQ companies across media, environment, social and manufacturing industries including Rivian and Johnson Matthey. Previously Nick has held senior roles at award-winning ESG consultancy Blurred, Natural History Museum and Freuds Communications.

Alastair Ford – Investment & Media Consultant

Alastair Ford spent seven years covering small companies for the Investors Chronicle, after which he went onto edit the mining-focussed website Minesite for a number of years. He was subsequently a resources specialist at Proactive Investors, where he also provided economic and political commentary. He is currently working as a mining analyst for Master Investor, and also serves as non-executive director for two resources companies, Great Western Mining and Xtract Resources.
